I love:

1) Thai food
2) Taste (a very important sense!)
3) Telepathy
4) Toxic10x (my handle from way back)
5) TNG (star trek)
6) Triple A
7) Tacos
8) Tenacious D
9) The Terminator

Look! I did a thing! [Jul. 18th, 2006|11:03 pm]
I'm bored. Here's a thing.

(Click here to post your own answers for this meme.)

I miss somebody right now.  (Take a guess who :p) I don't watch much TV these days. I own lots of books.  (well, I own a select few, but I read a good deal.)
I wear glasses or contact lenses. I love to play video games.  (I will cl0wn you at Halo 2 :p) I've tried marijuana.
I've watched porn movies. × I have been the psycho-ex in a past relationship. I believe honesty is usually the best policy.  (saves lots of trouble)
I curse sometimes.  (Goddamn right) I have changed a lot mentally over the last year.  (I'm happier) I carry my knife/razor everywhere with me.  (Handy)
it goes on... )

I played 60 rounds of Mortal Kombat II with Mike today. In a row. It was fun.

Spring Break [Mar. 14th, 2006|10:24 pm]
[mood |goodgood]
[music |Maiden]

Well, spring break has been going alright thus far. Went to this place called Joes Crab Shack for dinner with the fambly one night- 33 shrimp for 12 bucks, salad and bread included. Can't beat that. After that I went to Noah's and annihilated Jon and him in Halo. I believe I have become the premiere authority on that game in Hopewell :p 'Next day I took a short bike ride with my brother, and Mike was in town for the night, so I hung out with him and we wandered around and watched a bunch of MacGyver on DVD. I haven't done too much else terribly notable... I ran some errands today, and it appears there is a conspiracy in this town such that every hair cuttery is closed whenever I want to get a haircut. We'll see if I can't beat the system ere the break ends.
Tomorrow it's off to NY for the gathering at Brandon's house. Should be a jolly time, assuming I don't get lost on the way :p

Well, I'm off for now!

Update [Feb. 25th, 2006|06:56 pm]
[mood |goodgood]
[music |guitar from the next room]

Well folks I bought DOOM with my circuit city gift card- we may well watch it tonight. Huzzah!

Also, I am learning the guitar. Yes, I have finally caved in :p So far all I know is a bunch of chords, but my instructor (Mike of course) says I show a lot of potential.

Next weekend is my birthday. Mike and Brian are coming down for Friday night and John for saturday- should be a jolly time!

That's all for now folks,

Adios!

Back in Qville [Jan. 29th, 2006|04:04 pm]
[mood |awakesuperb]
[music |Tenacious D from Mike's room]

Well, the first week of classes are down, and while my schedule isn't great I think it's quite livable. I have my first 8AM this semester on fridays, but it really wasn't so bad. All in all my classes look good- I'm definitely looking forward to learning flash well. It will brin me one big step closer to my goal of creating a stupid flash vid that gains internet popularity. Our new roomate John seems to be a pretty good fit in the room as well. He's a film collector, so uh, yeah.

Other'n that we just had a pretty good weekend. Nikki was visiting the Q for the last time ere she heads down under, and Dan B was also here, as well as Brandon's buddy Ryan. Friday we played bingo and I won a $20 Circuit City gift card (hell yes!) and so did Mike- that's worth my time. Sitting in a room full of open sharpie markers also made for some interesting entertainment. We hung around and did this and that afterward- Jerome was also there, so it was really quite a crowd.
Yesterday we went to IHOP when we get up, and that was pretty tasty. Afterwards we watched the Blues Brothers, which remains a truly awesome movie, and then the drinking began. It was a fun night, all in all.

Well, I probably ought to be doing some stuff, so I'll be on my way- adios!

God Bless the Internet [Jan. 18th, 2006|12:23 am]
[mood |happyhappy]
[music |Crystal method - Busy child]

Well, at long last I can use my laptop online at home.

As I've been setting up some computer stuff for my church, I happened to have a spare Juno CD lying around. Since that's the service we use at home, I of course already have an account. I installed it on my laptop and wham! Here we are. So, I never have to use that god forsaken aim express again, and I have access to the net for all my file transferring needs. Alas that I should only get this a few days before I head back to Q-ville, but hey, it'll come in handy in the future.

'C' eh? 'N' eh? 'D' eh? ...God that's lame. [Jan. 16th, 2006|01:21 pm]
[mood |happyJolly]

Alright folks- In the grand old style of my LJ entries past, where I had too much to say and too little ambition to say it in paragraph form, I submit for your approval a bulleted list of events and happenings from my journey to Vermont and the fabled Canadas.

In approximate chronological order...

-My car threatening to stall at every stop light.
-Strip malls with Pizza places, cleaners, video stores, and chinese restaurants.
-Attack Turtles and Bagels at SaRa's.
-200 songs worth of mix CDs in a monkey's mouth.
-The adventures of Captain Sir and Roger.
-Battling sea food trucks, and indeed, Rhode Island as a whole (except the Wendy's; they were cool.)
-The founding (at least in concept) of Spoonsocket Wyoming: An exclusive utopian society with modular mobile houses, transportation tubes, and of course, the Braintree.
-Missed turns and missing street signs in Stoughton Mass.
-The addition of mark, Lauren, and a cooler of Snacks to our expedition.
-A quick stop in NH at Casa Mark.
-Being in Brandon.
-Near death experiences on Suicide Ave, and other winding roads in the VT country side.
-Finally arriving at Andi's house for some chicken Parm... mmm...
-Movies (...that's hot).
-Precious sleep.
-Lovely countryside.
-Cheese Factories (I still have maybe an eigth of a block of extra sharp).
-Being Cows.
-Ben and Jerry's.
-Being Ben and Jerry.

-Foreboding Tarot Cards.
-Another interem of sleep.

-Watching Lauren discover the true meaning of strip clubs.
-Imbibing of alcohol and general merriment back in the room- again legally.
-Schleep.
-Leprecy
-French Cartoons.
-Lunch at a Canadian 50s diner.
-Wandering around the City.
-A nap.
-Dinner.
-A lingerie store.
-More Imbibing of alcohol and general merriment back in the room.
-Nawty games.
-Schleep.
-Breakfast at Tim Horton's.
-Smuggling "leftovers" back over the border.
-Another, slightly less obscure Johhny Depp movie.
-Rocky Horror.
-My crappy life as a Doctor.
-Country Blackouts.
-Ghost Stories.
-Sleep.
-Blueberry muffins.
-Digging cars out of the snow.
-Watching SaRa learn how to drive in snow on the fly.
-Moving at Highway speed, while completely unable to see out the windshield.
-Dropping off Mark and Lauren in NH.
-Refuge at yet another Wendy's.
-Making it back to SaRa's- alive.
-My car actually working.
-Getting home at around 12:30 - Huzzah!

...So uh, yeah- that pretty much covers it. A most enjoyable experience. Elaboration available upon request.

That will be all then. I hope you've managed to enjoy that rather obscure, undetailed, and inside-joke-laden summary.
